What we collect and why

When you use the contact form or e-mail us, we process the personal data you provide — your name, e-mail address, telephone number and the content of your message — solely in order to respond to your enquiry, to carry out a conflict-of-interest check, and, where you instruct us, to take the steps necessary for establishing an attorney-client relationship.

Legal basis

Processing is based on Article 5/2(c) of the KVKK (processing necessary for steps taken prior to a contract at the data subject's request) and Article 5/2(f) (processing necessary for the legitimate interests of the controller, limited to responding to your enquiry). Data relating to an established engagement is processed under Article 5/2(a) (expressly provided for by law, including the Attorneyship Law No. 1136).

Transfers

Your data is not sold or shared for marketing purposes. It may be processed on the servers of the technical service providers that host this website and our e-mail infrastructure, only to the extent necessary for the message to reach us.

Retention

Enquiry data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and to comply with our legal and professional obligations, and is then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights (Article 11 KVKK)

You may apply to us at any time to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, correction, deletion or destruction, to object to results produced by exclusively automated analysis, and to claim compensation for unlawful processing. Applications may be sent in writing to the address above or by e-mail to info@lexlata.com.tr. Applications are answered within thirty days in accordance with Article 13 of the KVKK.

Attorney-client confidentiality

Independently of the KVKK, all information you share with us is protected by professional secrecy under Article 36 of the Attorneyship Law No. 1136.
